Summary

As a Home Health Aide at Comfort Keepers, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate care in their homes. This position is essential for helping seniors maintain their independence while ensuring they receive the support they need.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Document client care and report any changes in health status to nursing staff.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
• Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of medication administration and medical documentation practices.
• Ability to prepare meals and understand dietary restrictions.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first month of employment.
