Are you a skilled problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining safe, beautiful, and efficient living spaces? As a Maintenance Supervisor at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things maintenance, leading a talented team and making a tangible difference on-site at your property daily.What You'll Do:Lead and manage the property’s maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality service.Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and property inspections.Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are operating efficiently and safely.Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize and address maintenance requests and projects.Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work to ensure quality and timeliness.Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among your team.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to protect residents and property.Train, mentor, and develop your team to achieve their full potential.Ensure apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents.Perform snow and ice removal.Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.What Makes You a Great Fit:You’re certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields.You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
