We are a well-established, locally owned CPA firm providing tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services to individuals and businesses throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and help keep our office running smoothly. What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly attitude
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars
• Assemble tax returns and other client deliverables
• Scan, organize, and maintain electronic client files
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Assist with client communications and correspondence
• Accept client payments and perform general administrative tasks
• Provide administrative support to our accounting staff as needed

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn
• Previous office administration or customer service experience preferred
• Experience in an accounting, tax, financial, or legal office is a plus, but not required

Schedule

• January through April: Full-time (40+ hours per week)
• May through December: Flexible hours based on workload. We are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that accommodates both the employee's needs and the firm's workload.

Evening and weekend work is generally not required outside of tax season.
