A large-scale chemical manufacturing organization is seeking a General Manager / Senior Plant Manager to lead a flagship manufacturing operation. About the Role This role has overall responsibility for site safety, operations, maintenance, reliability, environmental performance, cost management, and leadership development. The successful candidate will lead a complex manufacturing organization and play a key role in driving operational performance, workforce development, and long‑term site success. Responsibilities Lead safety, environmental, and operational performance across the site Drive production, reliability, and cost performance objectives Develop and mentor operations and manufacturing leaders Align operations, maintenance, engineering, and support functions Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives Support capital projects, turnarounds, and long‑term strategic planning Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational discipline Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experienceExperience leading large‑scale chemical, petrochemical, refining, or other process manufacturing operations Strong understanding of PSM-regulated manufacturing environments Experience leading cross-functional teams across operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability Demonstrated success improving safety, reliability, production, and organizational performance Required Skills Chemical manufacturing Polymers Chlor‑alkali Refining Other complex continuous‑process manufacturing environments Pay range and compensation package This search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
