Sr Software Engineer, Graviton Software

Salary: $168,400 - 168,400 per year Requirements:
- We require 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- We require 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software language.
- We require 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- We require 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- We optimize architectures and algorithms for peak performance.
- We use tools such as Aperf, sysstat, sysctl, and perf to identify bottlenecks.
- We monitor and analyze processor, operating system, and workload metrics.
- We improve software performance for AWS customers and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EMR, ElastiCache, and RDS.
- We contribute to Linux kernel enhancements and other open source projects.
- We build analysis frameworks and automation systems.
- We enhance APerf, our open-source Rust-based performance tool.
- We develop new performance analysis capabilities and maintain automation solutions.
