Garver is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our growing team in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. They will be mentored and trained as seller‑doers with opportunities to lead projects, market our services, interact with the biggest transportation clients in Texas. Responsibilities Project management Sub‑consultant coordination Project/task scheduling Civil design Plan production oversight Preparing cost estimates Client interaction Technical experience should include: Geometric design for roadways/interchanges Drainage design Construction sequencing and traffic control Utility relocation coordination Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience (TxDOT preferred) Practical working knowledge of the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual and the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) as well as other TxDOT Design manuals and processes Strong working knowledge of MicroStation (Geopak, OpenRoads, OpenRoads Designer) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of MS Office Preferred Requirements Previous roadway design experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TxDOT (or other DOT) transportation projects TxDOT Pre‑Certs TxDOT Dallas and/or FTW contacts 3D Design experience Grow With Us Garver offers its employees programs such as company‑paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
