General Description

Responsible for processing and validating mortgage loan modifications, as well as manually entering New Mortgage Loans in MSP System. Perform critical maintenances in loan terms such as changes in Principal Balance, P&I, Interest Rate and Maturity Date referred to Loan Boarding and Modification Setup unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review all documents required to process mortgage loan modifications; maintenance on mortgage loans and New Mortgage loan entries to ensure that they are complete to be adequately processed. Perform next day validation for accuracy of data quality in compliance with SOX controls and Regulations.
• Perform validation (peer review) on modifications or maintenance completed and review monitoring reports to identify exceptions and perform corrections accordingly.
• Update the adjustable-rate index for ARM loans in the ARM Workstation in MSP.
• Process corresponding updates such as interest rate and P&I adjustments on Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) loans in accordance with the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.
• Register copies of official checks issued in PCP Administrative System and perform daily validations to ensure completeness.
• Create or edit Escrow Header Payees and perform next day validation utilizing reports in Web Ammo.
• Complete daily balance of all transactions processed and refer to Accounting as per established procedures. Address any differences that may arise.
• Complete tasks assigned in a timely manner as established in procedures.
• Carry out special projects assigned as per operational needs.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related fields

Experience

One (1) to two (2) years in mortgage banking or related fields.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday from 8:00am- 5:00pm.

Available to work holidays and weekends.
