Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool

Job Description

The ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care across several intensive care units, including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage patients in a variety of critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients across various ICU units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Float between different ICU settings based on patient needs and unit requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Maine.
• Ability to float to various ICU units as needed.
