Job Description

The Sr Franchise Development Manager is a strategic partner responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our franchise network. This role builds upon core franchise recruitment responsibilities and adds leadership in market strategy, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The role will bring deep experience in franchise development, a strong network, and the ability to mentor junior team members while delivering measurable results aligned with company growth objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and execute national and regional franchise growth plans
• Identify emerging markets and develop territory prioritization strategies
• Represent the brand at industry events, panels, and expos
• Oversee the franchise candidate pipeline, ensuring quality and velocity
• Implement best practices for lead nurturing, technology usage, and conversion tracking
• Conduct advanced screenings and discovery sessions with high-potential candidates
• Evaluate financials, operational readiness, and cultural fit
• Partner with marketing to refine recruitment campaigns and messaging
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure FDD accuracy and regulatory adherence
• Serve as a subject matter expert in franchise development internally and externally
• Deliver regular performance reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet or exceed growth targets
• Support and mentor Franchise Development Managers and Coordinators
• Share knowledge and contribute to team training and development initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and/or a minimum 6–8 years of experience in franchise development, sales, or business development
• Proven track record of franchise network expansion and deal closure
• Strong understanding of franchise law, FDDs, and regulatory frameworks 
• Advanced proficiency in technology systems and digital marketing platforms
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
