Qualified techs can make on average between $104k - 208k/year

Job Description

The Fiber I&R Technician position is in Ville Platte, Louisiana and is full-time. The primary function is to install fiber optic internet services, providing world class quality, and product education for residential and commercial customers.

Role and Responsibilities for Fiber I&R Technician

Installation, maintenance, and repairing of fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone and if applicable, television services
Complete pre-install work order and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
Place aerial or buried fiber optic drops and install interior and exterior wiring.
Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
Work at heights by using/setting up various types of ladders.
Work in confined spaces.
Teamwork - Assist other technicians in the performance of their duties when requested.
Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and services to our customers.
Have an ability to adapt to new processes and new information frequently.
Use internal systems for work order notation and time keeping.
