General Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and shipping products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and operating efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of goods, check them for accuracy, and inspect them for damage.
• Organize and store materials or products in the appropriate locations in the warehouse.
• Label products and materials as necessary for identification and inventory purposes.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Ensure products are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify order accuracy before shipping to ensure customers receive the correct products.
• Assist in inventory counting and stock rotation.
• Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels to the warehouse manager.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping aisles and storage areas organized.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Dispose of packaging materials and waste in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and containers.
• Use manual handling or material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) to move goods.
• Work closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (forklift certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.

Working Conditions

• Full-time Monday-Friday
• Work in a warehouse or industrial environment with exposure to heavy machinery, fluctuating temperatures, and noise.
• Physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
