Machine Operator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes. The Machine Operator plays a key role in meeting production goals while maintaining product quality and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or issues
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications
- Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and maintenance performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role preferred
- Ability to read technical documents and manuals
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work [shifts/weekends/overtime] as needed
