Position Overview As an Applebee’s Server you will be the first and last impression for guests. You will greet guests, recommend items, and respond to their needs with a friendly, attentive attitude. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly service throughout their visit. Make menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries. Deliver orders from the service bar and kitchen to tables promptly. Maintain a clean and orderly dining area. Assist in handling cash and processing payments. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Excellent verbal communication skills. Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Compensation & Benefits Competitive wages plus tips (starting at minimum wage). Health‑care benefits. Meal discounts. Paid sick leave. Daily pay (not available in California). Physical Standards Exert mobility for up to 4 hours per shift. Safely reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds. Transport plates, glasses, and baskets around the dining area approximately 30 times per shift. Speak clearly and listen attentively to staff and guests. Wear protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and use disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the shift.
