Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a direct hire opportunity in Jackson, WI, supporting an industrial facilities and infrastructure construction environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees, managers, and leadership to support daily HR operations and strengthen the employee experience.

The Human Resources Generalist will play a visible role in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HR documentation, benefits support, compliance, and HRIS data accuracy. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values supportive leadership, clear communication, positive teamwork, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a stable, team-oriented workplace. HR is viewed as a key business partner, and this role offers the chance to contribute to practical process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Support full-cycle recruiting, new hire coordination, onboarding, and employee communication across the organization.
- Administer benefits, employee leaves including FMLA, and HR programs while providing responsive internal customer service.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, personnel documentation, and compliance-related information.
- Assist with employee relations matters, workplace questions, policy guidance, documentation, and issue tracking.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Jackson, WI.
- Work arrangement: On-site presence is required.
