OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – PEDIATRIC SERVICES

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a well-established, early intervention therapy agency. They offer occupational therapy to children from 0-3 years old.  They are seeking an experienced Certified, Licensed Occupational Therapist who can provide therapy, assessment, and reassessment through home visits.  Position available in either Essex, Morris, Bergen and Passaic counties in NJ. Your choice.

This is a 1099 Independent Contract position

• The position requires home visits
• Must have a valid, unexpired NJ Driver’s License and a reliable and insured vehicle
• Able to work minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Additional hours are welcome.
• You can determine the days and hours to provide service

PAY RATE: $95 per hour

  Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:  

• Evaluate students’ needs for occupational therapy
• Provide therapy, assessment and reassessment
• Compile daily session notes and track progress
• Evaluate progress reports
• Conduct evaluations and complete treatment plans
• Provide Play-Based Therapy

Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:

• Must have an active, valid New Jersey Occupational Therapy License
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Must be willing to make home visits
• Must have a valid, unexpired New Jersey Driver’s License & insured, reliable vehicle
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children who have learning differences
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Bilingual Spanish a plus not a must
• Ability to provide 3 professional references
