Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs - Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care - Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly - Perform basic medical procedures such as suture removal and dressing changes - Assist with case management and coordination of care for patients with complex medical needs - Conduct physical examinations and assessments to determine patient health status - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management

Skills: - Proficient in using electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth, to document patient information accurately - Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting, providing care to patients of various ages and medical conditions - Knowledge of medical documentation standards and ability to maintain accurate and detailed records - Familiarity with case management principles and ability to coordinate care for patients with multiple healthcare providers - Understanding of occupational health practices and ability to assess and address work-related injuries or illnesses - Competency in performing physical examinations, including assessing vital signs, conducting screenings, and documenting findings - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers - Familiarity with medical coding systems and ability to assign appropriate codes for billing purposes - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
