The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls. In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: “Together for Ukraine”. Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100,000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment. We are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Specialist who is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fundraising campaigns and activities at TEEI. Role Scope Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with TEEI's mission and goals. Arrange meetings with partners and communicate regularly with them to maintain strong partnerships and explore potential collaborations. Research and identify potential new partners, and develop strategies to build relationships with them. Explore innovative and effective ways to generate funding for the NGO, including researching and identifying new fundraising strategies. Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and report results to senior leadership. Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to ensure fundraising efforts align with overall organizational goals. Requirements At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors and communicate effectively with team members. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with fundraising software, online platforms, and other tools to support fundraising efforts (Salesforce, Classy, Fundly, Everydayhero, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Mailchimp, etc.). Willingness to identify opportunities to automate and streamline fundraising processes, and implement tools and software to make fundraising efforts more efficient.
