Key Responsibilities for the Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist:
• Manage and resolve billing denials across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors
• Research claims and drive resolutions for 20-25 cases per week
• Follow up with insurance companies to reduce open accounts receivable
• Track and update Medicaid eligibility and claim status data
• Communicate effectively with payors and internal stakeholders by phone and in writing

Qualifications for the Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist:
• 1-3 years of medical billing and accounts receivable or collections experience
• Proven experience handling insurance denials and claim follow-up
