NOW HIRING: Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney Charlotte, NC | Hybrid


A respected firm is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This role offers hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to manage a meaningful caseload with partner support.


Responsibilities:


Manage a workers’ compensation caseload from start to resolution
Conduct legal analysis and case strategy development
Take depositions of parties, medical providers, and experts
Represent clients in mediations and settlement negotiations
Draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses
Attend and argue hearings before the Industrial Commission
Review medical records and investigate claims
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, insurers, and risk managers


Qualifications:


Active North Carolina Bar License

2+ years of Workers’ Compensation experience required
Strong legal writing and research skills
Deposition and mediation experience preferred
Excellent communication and client management skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently


Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
