Senior Quality Control Inspector

The Role We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector who can operate independently, lead inspection activities, and elevate our quality systems. This is not an entry-level role—you will be expected to take ownership of inspection processes, work through complex quality challenges, and play a key role in maintaining and improving our standards. Key Responsibilities Perform complex inspections using advanced metrology equipment, including CMMs (programming + operation) Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances Develop, modify, and optimize CMM programs (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent) Oversee inspection planning, execution, and reporting Mentor and support junior inspectors Partner with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues and improve processes Qualifications 5+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop preferred) Strong experience with CMM programming and inspection Advanced proficiency with precision measuring tools Deep understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Familiarity with CNC machining processes and CAD/CAM integration ASQ certification or equivalent is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay + overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Career advancement opportunities Clean, organized, high-tech manufacturing environment Why Reata We’re building something strong—and we need people who can raise the bar.
