UI/UX Designer

Position: UI/UX Designer Company Overview: Episcopal School of Baton Rouge is a prestigious educational institution that has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us elevate our digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics. They will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our website, applications, and other digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital platforms Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continuously improve the user experience Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently Work closely with marketing and communications teams to maintain brand consistency in all digital designs Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects and a user-centered design approach Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
