Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report activity, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a printing, distribution, or office location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, visitor activity, deliveries, and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements. Document incidents, observations, and irregular conditions through required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
