Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.97 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government aviation location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities in accordance with established procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials as directed; and assist with visitor management and traffic flow. Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and responding agencies. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
