JobPurpose TheBusinessDevelopmentManagerisafull-cycle,relationship-drivensalesprofessionalresponsibleforbuilding,growing,andmanagingapersonalportfoliooflightingrentalclients.Successinthisrolerequiresproactivelysourcinganddevelopingnewclientrelationships,influencingproductspecification,andensuringhigh-qualityexecutionthroughclosecollaborationwithChristieLites’globalsupportteams. Thisroleisdesignedforindividualswhothriveonindependence,accountability,andlong-termrelationshipownership. KeyResponsibilities ClientRelationshipDevelopment Proactivelysource,develop,andmaintainlong-termclientrelationships Scheduleandconductregularin-personclientmeetingsandsitevisits Travelasneededtosupportclientsintheirworkingenvironments Maintainconsistent,structuredcommunicationthroughscheduledcheck-ins Serveastheprimarypointofcontactforassignedclientrelationships BusinessDevelopment&ProductInfluence DevelopaworkingknowledgeofChristieLites’lightingrentalinventoryandservices InfluencelightingproductspecificationbycollaboratingwithLightingDesigners,producers,andspecifiers PositionChristieLitesasthepreferredlightingrentalpartnerduringthebidandplanningphases Managecompetitivesubstitutionswhenalternateproductsareinitiallyspecified Presentrigging,labor,andsupportservicesasintegratedsolutionssupportinglightingrentals Portfolio&PerformanceManagement Buildandactivelymanageapersonalportfolioofclientrelationships Setannualrelationship-developmentandfinancialtargetsincollaborationwiththeVPofRentals Identifyandpursuenewrevenueopportunitiesthroughproactivenetworkingandoutreach Regularlyreviewportfoliocompositionandrecommendadjustmentstosupportlong-termgrowth Monitorportfolioperformance,profitability,andcommissionreporting Execution&Cross-FunctionalCollaboration InterfacecloselywithProjectManagementtoensureaccuratequoting,reservations,andexecution Providetimelyandcompleteinformationtosupportjobplanninganddelivery Participateinpost-showreviewstoensureconsistentqualityacrossequipment,labor,andexecution Partnerwithinternalteamstoresolvechallengesandidentifycontinuousimprovementopportunities SupportAccountingwithinvoicingfollow-upandaccountcollectionasneeded BusinessModel&PolicyAdherence PromoteChristieLites’OfficialRentalProductLine(ORPL) StrictlyadheretotheOneContact–OneRep(OCOR)clientmanagementpolicy Followestablishedaccounting,administrative,andreportingprocedures RepresentChristieLitesprofessionallyandconsistentlyacrossallclientinteractions Candidatesmustmeetoneofthefollowingexperienceprofiles: 1.IndustryExperience: Multipleyearsofexperienceworkinginstagelighting,liveevents,touring,production,orrelatedtechnicalenvironments Strongunderstandingofproductionworkflowsandclientdynamics 2.Relationship-BasedSalesExperience: Provensuccessinarelationship-driven,portfolio-ownedsalesrole Demonstratedabilitytoself-sourcebusiness,buildlong-termclientrelationships,andclosedeals Experiencesellingcomplex,service-based,orproject-drivensolutions PersonalAttributesforSuccess: Highlyrelationship-orientedandclient-focused Self-motivated,independent,andaccountable Competitive,driven,andgrowth-oriented Comfortablewithtravelandirregularhours Confidentdecision-makerandcloser Detail-oriented,especiallywithfinancialandcontractualmatters Motivatedbyperformance-basedcompensation ProfessionalAttributesforSuccess: Strongorganizationalandadministrativeskills Proventrackrecordofsalessuccessandportfoliogrowth Strategicnegotiatorwithsoundbusinessjudgment Collaborativeproblemsolverwhobuildstrustwithclientsandinternalteams Comfortableoperatingautonomouslywithseniorleadershipsupport
