About Us
- Established in 1990, our company produces high-quality custom signage ranging from compliance and ADA signs to full-scale monument and building signage. We are currently seeking a skilled Sign Fabricator to join our team.
Schedule & Shift
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Position Type: Full-time
Scope of Work
- Pre-Press & File Setup: Review vector artwork and digital files, verify dimensions and color profiles, and process files using RIP software (e.g., FlexiSign).
- Print Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate wide-format inkjet, roll-to-roll printers.
- Sign Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, weed, and mask vinyl graphics. Construct 2D and 3D signage using materials such as acrylic, aluminum composite (ACM), foam board, PVC, and wood.
- Finishing & Mounting: Perform hand-trimming, laminating, panel mounting.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished signs for accurate color reproduction, precise alignment, crisp edges, and structural integrity before dispatch.
- Field Installations: Transport & Install various types of signage.
- Equipment & Shop Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on printers and shop tools, manage material inventory, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Hands-on Fabrication Skills: Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, digital cutters, laminators, and vinyl application equipment.
- Software & RIP Proficiency: Experience with Pre-Press or Rip Software.
- Material Expertise: Deep understanding of sign substrates, adhesives, vinyl types (cast vs. calendered), and finishing hardware.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs), work on ladders or scaffolding, and stand for long periods.
- Detail Orientation: Sharp eye for measurements, color matching, and precise fit-and-finish detail.
