About the team: Enterprise Data is responsible for helping drive and evolve Capital One’s data journey. Our products support our data producers and consumers as they drive business processes and innovation across all corners of the company. Our Data Operations team in Enterprise Data is reimagining how we enable acceleration of our data journey. As a Project Manager you will: Work on small to medium-scale department projects that have a direct impact on the company Work with partners to assist in project planning and design Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments Identify ways to improve and streamline business process Understand key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications Create and measure success metrics and monitor change progress The person will: Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Display strong consulting and collaboration skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience At least 5 Years Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications: PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certifications Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong problem solving and influencing skills Work experience achieving results At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Project Manager Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Project Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
