NDT Inspector: X-Ra

Job Title: NDT Inspector: X-Ray (2nd Shift) Location: East Granby, CT (Bradley Park) Job Type: Direct Placement / Full Time Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Onsite – 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Shift Differential: 15% for 2nd Shift Responsibilities and Qualifications Current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II certification in accordance with NAS 410 or equivalent Minimum 2–4 years of radiographic testing experience (or equivalent documented OJT hours per NAS 410) Hands‑on experience with film and/or digital radiography (CR) Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and applicable codes/standards Working knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations Set‑up and process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with written instructions Carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection Conduct system performance checks in alignment with SOPs Conduct tests, interpret results, evaluate for acceptance and rejection, and document outcomes Provide guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel Ability to communicate verbally, visually, and in writing Comfort working in a constantly changing environment; adaptability and flexibility are critical Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Education and Citizenship High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree is desirable U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required Belcan is a leading provider of qualified personnel to many of the world's most respected enterprises.
