Business Development Representative
River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children. Since 1970, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. River Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addictive disorders. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).
River Oaks Hospital is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to coordinate implement the facility's strategic sales plan, enhance the facility's brand/image, effectively manage their assigned territory and accounts, and work to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Representative must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment while performing duties in accordance with company mission, values, and behavioral standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. 3 years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to communicate successfully, both orally and written, to a variety of internal and external customers, while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Must have strong presentation skills.
- Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English.
- Selected skills/credentials as defined by the department's scope of services.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related human service field preferred.
