Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Join Our Exciting Nursing Team Job Description: - Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Location: HVTI-Stepdown unit - Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population Highlights: - AUTO OFFER - 3x12's ONLY! - Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferably within one location but can be combined). - Must have 18 months of recent Stepdown experience - travel experience will suffice. - PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required. - Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand is required. - Active certifications: BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required. Expectations: - Work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate to be completed during orientation; passing scores are required. - Background checks of any kind will be reviewed; open cases will not be accepted. - No license hits accepted. - Nicotine-free facility requirements apply to travelers (with exceptions for Nurses and CSTs). - Negative 10 Panel Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start. Additional Information: - Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required. - Annual Hands-On Competency Requirement for nurses who maintain continuous contracts. - Modules required pre-start and annually (4 hours of modules are billable).
