For this position, residing north of Brussels is considered an advantage, although it is not a requirement.Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Engineer, you'll be part of the EMEA North service team and will report to the Field Service Team leader. With "Safety first" mindset throughout the daily work both at company and our customer sites you will:Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation.Document service activities and provide clear feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.Collaborate with colleagues across service, engineering, and sales to deliver a high-quality customer experience.QualificationsMechanical education (Requires secondary education diploma, preferably a subject-specific diploma) or proven practical experience in a mechanical field service role.An EFK (Elektrofachkraft) together with AuS (Arbeiten unter Spannung) qualification is mandatory.Minimum 5 years of experience in Field Service EngineerHands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment).Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls preferred.Fluent in English and German; additional languages are an advantage.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Willingness to travel across mostly Germany (Austria, Switzerland, and occasionally other European countries - travel planned in advance).Comfortable working in industrial environments and on customer sites.Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented.Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.Additional InformationWhy work for us:You will have long-term career opportunities, with a globally renowned company and the following:A competitive compensation package, including a minimum annual base salary starting from €47.000 gross, depending on experience and qualificationsHybrid working policy30 days of annual leaveEmployer contribution to the company pension schemeEmployer-funded group accident insuranceEmployee share purchase program with preferential conditions for TOMRA sharesExclusive employee discounts through the Corporate Benefits platformCompany bike leasing program, including e-bike optionsWellpass membership supporting health and wellbeingVoiio platform for work-life balance, family support and wellbeing servicesTravel and overnight allowanceLaptop, mobile, toolbox, work attire and PPE equipmentCompany car (for private use as well)
