Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A mail-order pharmacy in the Rockville, MD area seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage for a 4-day period. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with experience to support prescription verification and medication order approval in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and approve prescriptions and medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist pharmacy technicians with labeling and dispensing medications
- Maintain patient safety standards and adhere to pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to streamline workflow
Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Maryland
- Previous pharmacist experience in a pharmacy setting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with accuracy
Location: Rockville, MD
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Coverage dates: June 29 through July 2
