Phlebotomist I – Reynoldsburg, OH Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay range : Minimum $18.51+ per hour. Salary is based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Annual performance bonus may be available. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams). Administer oral solutions as per training. Research test/client information and verify all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Accurately navigate a computer and enter data. Obtain identification and record billing information; collect payments when required per corporate policies. Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport) as required by test order. Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email as appropriate. Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required. Maintain phlebotomy logs and other required logs, such as maintenance and temperature logs, in a timely manner. Complete online and in‑person training courses on schedule. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Experience : One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred; keyboard/data entry experience required.
