Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility located in New Britain, Connecticut. The role involves providing specialized care within a Respiratory Care Unit and Respiratory Step-Down Unit, focusing on vent-dependent and respiratory patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Required Qualifications: RN license, 1-2 years of experience, with experience in respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred; proficiency in IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, wound care, trach care, suctioning, urinary catheterization, port access, central line dressing, wound measurements; experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: The role involves responsibilities specific to respiratory and ventilated patient care, including complex wound dressings, Trach care, suctioning, and central line management. The RN may be required to float to related units for varied patient needs, with a focus on respiratory and specialized care. Profiles must be clear, detailed, and include any respiratory/vented patient experience where applicable.
