# Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider – Kansas

**Schedule:** 10-hour shifts during weekdays (daytime), 12-hour shifts for weekday nights and weekends. Coverage needed for both AM and PM shifts. Patients seen at a rate of 1-1.5 per hour.

– Join a Level II Trauma Center emergency department with 24 beds, 7 vertical pathway spaces, and 2 intake rooms
– Patient mix consists mainly of acuity levels 2 and 3, with a 35% admission rate
– Work alongside experienced emergency medicine physicians with typically 3 physicians per day and APP overlap during daytime hours
– Nurse/APP triage available for lower acuity patients to support efficient patient flow
– Comprehensive orientation including 2 shadow shifts with EMR training
– Temporary coverage need until full-time positions are filled

**Requirements:**

– Active Kansas state license required at time of submission
– Minimum 2+ years of emergency medicine APP experience
– Standard ER APP certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.)
– Case logs required per standard credentialing requirements
– Clean professional file and December 2026 availability mandatory
