• High School Diploma / GED
• Prior work experience preferred working in or around heavy equipment, construction or asphalt
• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge and skills
• Proven safety record
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

• Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds and housekeeping tasks
• Ensure paving housekeeping is maintained and that equipment is running properly
• Assist foremen with all tasks as needed, follow instructions and perform duties as assigned
• Safely operate equipment and perform mechanic and general labor duties
• Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, peers, operators, and customers serviced
