Assistant Cafeteria Manager
To serve students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth. Essential duties include receiving and checking delivery of products, ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock, supervising production and service of food, managing meal count and cash collection, maintaining sanitation, conducting inventory, and performing physical efforts such as lifting and cleaning. The position requires working in warm and noisy kitchens, exposure to steam, fumes, and cooking odors, and operating dangerous equipment. Other duties may be assigned by the school food service manager. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, previous food service experience, and physical ability to perform various tasks. The work environment may require reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
