Release Train Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach / Data Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics and features and the value delivered by an Agile Release Train while also maintaining and enhancing a Tableau reporting system. The ideal candidate will facilitate Release Train ceremonies, manage dependencies, and use their technical skills in Python, SQL, and Tableau to generate and enhance reports. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Release Train ceremonies and manage dependencies
• Report the health of epic/feature delivery and overall program increment
• Promote agile principles and mindset through coaching
• Ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly
• Protect the Trains from disruptions and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
• Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team)
• Proficient in Python for developing data processing pipelines, implementing statistical models, and utilizing libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and create stored procedures in SQL Server
• Strong proficiency in Tableau for building interactive dashboards, creating calculated fields, and designing data visualizations
• Skilled in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports, designing data models, and creating DAX measures
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx building automated workflows for data cleansing, blending, and transformation
• Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Process and detail-oriented with the ability to foster strong collaboration among team members
• Self-motivation, self-direction, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
