Urgent Care Physician Opportunities

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking Urgent Care Physicians interested in a fast-paced, high-acuity, and highly procedural environment. This position is ideal for physicians who enjoy emergency-based medicine without overnight shifts or hospital call.

Position Overview:

• No overnights
• High-acuity, procedural urgent care model
• Broad scope including complex urgent care and emergency-style presentations
• Mix of fast-track and higher-acuity cases requiring decisive clinical management
• Practice emergency medicine principles in a well-resourced outpatient setting

Clinical Environment:

• All urgent care sites operate 365 days per year, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
• Flexible shifts available: 6, 8, 10, and 12-hour options
• Average volume 22.5 patients per hour
• Fully equipped sites with:
• On-site lab, Radiology and Pharmacy
• Procedural support and experienced clinical teams onsite
• Epic EMR used system-wide across Sharp HealthCare

Qualifications:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in:
• Emergency Medicine
• Family Medicine
• Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
• Board certification required within 2 years of hire

• Full benefits available for half-time and full-time physicians
• 200 hours of paid vacation annually (first two years)- prorated for half-time
• 40 hours paid sick time annually
• 40 hours paid CME time annually + CME allowance - prorated for half-time
