Our organization is looking for Inpatient Neurologists and Pediatric Neurologists in New York, NY.

We have openings for a Full-time Pediatric Neurologist to join our highly regarded Division of Pediatric Neurology. We welcome applications from candidates at any academic level (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) with an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai that aligns with their experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding clinical abilities and a passion for both outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology.

This part-time/per diem role focuses on general inpatient neurology within our New York City-based health system. You will deliver exceptional care to patients facing a variety of complex neurological conditions and the neurological aspects of systemic illnesses. Please note that acute stroke and neurovascular conditions are managed by our specialized Stroke Team. You will often work alongside our esteemed neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists, particularly in areas such as epilepsy and stroke. For those interested, there is a chance to engage in innovative teleneurology coverage. Additionally, due to our department's strong ties with the Icahn School of Medicine and various residency and fellowship programs, teaching opportunities may be available for qualified candidates, although this is not mandatory. Coverage may include weekdays, weeknights, and/or weekends, with flexibility in response to changing needs over time.

Our newly established, system-wide Neurohospitalist Division is a vibrant and expanding environment that values creativity, teamwork, and motivation. This division is focused on developing practice standards, metrics, and protocols to enhance the quality of inpatient neurology care across the system, collaborating with Neuro Critical Care, Stroke, Epilepsy, and other relevant services, while leveraging information technology to improve care quality and safety. Our Department of Neurology is dedicated to holistic patient care, emphasizing a patient-centered approach that aligns with the mission of the Icahn School of Medicine through an integrative strategy in patient care, research, and education. Candidates should have strong clinical skills and a keen interest in inpatient general neurology consultations.

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New York Medical License and NYS DEA registration.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.

Compensation ranges from $210,000 to $350,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, collections, and community needs. Therefore, actual salaries may be closer to either end of the range and, in some cases, may fall outside the listed range. The stated salary range applies to full-time positions and does not include bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.
