Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and automotive repair, with the ability to maintain and service various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Conduct routine maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, tire service, and brake inspections.
Align wheels and adjust suspensions as necessary to maintain vehicle integrity.
Utilize cranes and other equipment for heavy lifting during repairs and maintenance tasks.
Solder electrical components and wiring as needed for repairs.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in diesel engine repair and automotive repair is essential.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required in the role.
Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in diesel mechanics, including diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
A valid driver's license is preferred; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.
