About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) with a focus on information security and cyber risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading security initiatives, strengthening cyber risk controls, and overseeing the protection of critical systems. This role is pivotal in bridging regulatory requirements with practical IT administration and secure system design, and it offers broad exposure across compliance, classified systems, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security. The ideal CIO will have a strong background in cybersecurity compliance, hands-on IT systems administration, and a deep understanding of translating compliance requirements into technical solutions. Applicants for the CIO position at the company must have a current U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level or above, with a preference for those holding Top Secret credentials. A CompTIA Security+ certification is strongly preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is expected. The role requires experience in administering Windows environments, and working with networking, Active Directory, and various security technologies. Direct experience with DoD, government, or cybersecurity, particularly in RMF, CMMC, NIST guidance, or classified environments, is also highly valued. The CIO will be expected to have strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with technical and security teams.
