Senior Manager, Product Management

Contribute to the vision and roadmap for SPINS Intelligence and Portal Balance innovation, commercial impact, and cross‑application business needs Lead AI, NLP, and automation initiatives, including workflow utilities, natural‑language querying, and agentic analytics Make build‑vs‑partner decisions Write stories and define acceptance criteria Triage client issues and review sprint deliverables Partner with Engineering, Data, Design, Commercial, and Finance to ship quality products Drive provisioning, onboarding, and go‑to‑market for major launches Mentor and develop Product Managers Establish operating rhythms, quality standards, and a culture of ownership and honest communication Engage brand, broker, and retailer clients to understand workflows and pain points Translate client and market insight into product direction Own KPIs, revenue contribution, COGS, adoption data, and capacity Build business cases for investment Requirements 6–12+ years in CPG/product management 3+ years leading PMs or cross‑functional product teams Deep experience building SaaS analytics platforms, data products, or BI solutions, ideally in CPG, retail, or market research Strong CPG industry knowledge, including syndicated data and analytics usage by brands, brokers, and retailers Ability to set strategy and operate hands‑on by writing stories, triaging bugs, and engaging directly with clients Experience shipping AI/ML‑powered capabilities, including NLP, workflow automation, or recommendations Strong technical acumen with data pipelines, APIs, Snowflake/GCP, and engineering trade‑off discussions Excellent communication from boardroom to backlog and executive presentations to story acceptance criteria Experience with Agile tools and practices such as Jira and Pendo Preferred: Experience with SPINS, IRI/Circana, Nielsen, or similar syndicated data platforms Preferred: Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic AI product design Preferred: Background building portal/platform strategies unifying multiple applications Preferred: PE‑backed or high‑growth environment experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in product management within the CPG industry, focusing on AI, NLP, and automation initiatives.
