Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Mercy Home Health Care has a need fora Full-time (1.0 FTE - 40 hours weekly) RN WOCN Consultant. This position is based from our South Philadelphia branch office and will support the City of Philadelphia. The WOCN is responsible toprovide wound care to the patients of Mercy Home Health. Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound care assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients. Provides patient, family, and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies. Current RN licensure with WOCN required or Certified prepared wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (WOCN). Valid driver’s license and car insurance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. .
