Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT MR certification for an ER/Trauma focused imaging role.

Details

• Works in the MRI Tech unit supporting ER/Trauma patient population
• Performs MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck/brain, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Performs MR cardiac imaging with and without contrast
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and Epic EMR
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on set consecutive nights
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MR and BLS certifications required
• Washington state license required (license required if applicable)
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• ER experience required
• Experience performing abdominal MRA, female/male pelvis imaging, and MSK imaging required
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be submitted up front at time of consideration, as post-offer requests may not be granted
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including dates and location, if applicable
• Pending license applications are accepted
