CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, machining centers, and related equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes to maintain quality and productivity
• Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, horizontal or vertical machining centers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and quality inspection processes
• Experience with CNC setup, editing offsets, and basic programming is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• High school diploma, GED, trade school certification, or equivalent experience preferred
