This role provides on-site sales and customer support, helping customers identify their needs, understand available products and services, and make informed purchasing decisions. The Sales Support Representative actively promotes and sells products, delivers high-quality customer service, and contributes to achieving sales targets while maintaining accurate records and supporting a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly on-site and assist them in identifying their needs.

• Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to help customers make informed decisions.

• Actively promote and sell products on-site, working to meet or exceed established sales targets.

• Utilize effective sales techniques to drive revenue and support overall sales goals.

• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits.

• Address customer questions and concerns clearly and professionally during demonstrations and consultations.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Assist in maintaining the presentation of merchandise, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.

• Support basic inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs as required.

• Keep accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions using the appropriate systems and tools.

• Prepare reports on sales performance and customer activity as required by leadership.

• Perform data entry accurately and efficiently to support sales and customer service operations.

• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and sales strategies.

• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information, best practices, and feedback.

• Use point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and handle cash accurately and responsibly.

• Maintain professionalism and a friendly, energetic demeanor during all customer and team interactions.

• Stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs) as needed to support daily operations.

Essential Skills

• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail or call center environment.

• Sales support experience, including promoting and selling products to customers.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.

• Basic understanding of sales principles and practices.

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately.

• Data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel skills.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs).

• Bilingual Spanish skills required for one of the roles.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred.

• Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred for the second role.

• 2–4 years of college education is strongly preferred.

• Friendly, energetic personality with a strong customer service focus.

• Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term customer relationships.

• Interest in career growth into supervisory and management roles in sales or service.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with one Saturday shift every three weeks from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role involves working in a customer-facing environment where you will stand for extended periods, interact continuously with customers, and handle moderate physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs. You will use point-of-sale (POS) systems, Microsoft Office tools, and basic Excel for reporting and data entry. The environment supports professional growth, with clear opportunities to advance into supervisory and management roles within sales or service.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
