Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and timely reporting. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while reporting incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
