CT Technologist - Trauma Imaging Specialist

CT Technologist / Technical & Inspection Unit Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting CT Technologist and CT Technologist Trainee positions in the Technical & Inspection Unit. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast, monitor patients for adverse reactions, complete documentation, provide customer service, and maintain safety and radiation protection standards while producing high‑quality images in a fast‑paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses. Compensation Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainee: Annual salary $73,694.40 – $98,820.80. CT Technologist: Annual salary $88,462.40 – $121,721.60. Benefits Excellent benefits are available. See Summary of Benefits and the Memorandum of Understanding for details. Responsibilities Perform CT examinations in a trauma center setting. Administer intravenous and oral contrast agents. Observe patients for signs of adverse reactions. Complete required paperwork and documentation. Provide high quality customer service. Maintain radiation safety and quality standards. Qualifications Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT/Fluoroscopy). Holds Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Has Venipuncture Certification for contrast media. Registration Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computerized Tomography (CT). Experience Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainee: No experience required. CT Technologist: One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or six months of supervised CT clinical experience. Experience performing CT scans in a trauma center is highly desired. Conditions of Employment Shift availability: 24‑hour facility; applicants must indicate shift availability in the supplemental questionnaire. Background investigation, physical exam, and verification of employment history and education required. On‑call schedule: Incumbents scheduled for on‑call duties must be able to arrive within one hour of a call. Compensation and details available in the Memorandum of Understanding (Page 117).
