Responsibilities Include:

• Executing a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensuring utmost patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, clearly communicating each step
• Collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining imaging machinery, promptly reporting any irregularities
• Meticulously documenting procedures and preserving patient histories in the electronic medical system
• Keeping pace with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly regarded

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
