Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce precise diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are communicated swiftly
• Meticulously document imaging procedures and maintain patient history within the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
